The Manual Lymphatic Drainage Facial is a customized facial designed around your skin’s current needs, with the treatment ending in gentle Manual Lymphatic Drainage of the face, neck, and chest using the Dr. Vodder technique.

Your facial is personalized based on your skin, comfort, and goals and includes facial massage as part of the overall treatment. Manual Lymphatic Drainage, however, is different from traditional massage. Rather than using deeper pressure to work the muscles and soft tissue, this specialized technique uses extremely light, rhythmic movements designed to support the natural movement of lymphatic fluid through the superficial lymphatic system, which lies close to the surface of the skin.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage may help reduce the appearance of facial puffiness and fluid retention while supporting a more refreshed, rested, and softly sculpted appearance. Because the technique is so light, repetitive, and calming, it can also be intensely relaxing. Many clients fall asleep during this portion of the facial and describe the experience as a complete nervous system reset.

The Manual Lymphatic Drainage portion is performed at the end of the facial, allowing you to finish the treatment in a deeply relaxed state and leave feeling refreshed, restored, and cared for.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage may also be appropriate during pregnancy when performed with appropriate positioning and modifications based on the client’s comfort and individual circumstances.
