Collection: Scar Camouflage
Paramedical Tattoo Services
Paramedical tattooing focuses on restoration of the skin post medical treatment. It is a critical step in the healing journey of the survivors of cancer, accident, illness, trauma, and injury. Paramedical tattoos can also be used to camouflage scars and stretch marks, mimic hair growth, recolor skin that has lost it’s pigment and even restore the appearance of certain body parts using realistic anatomical designs.
The process involves depositing pigment into the dermal layer of the skin using medical grade ink designed to blend rather than stand out. Shadows and highlights can be added to create a 3D effect.
3D Areola Restoration is a service which gives the look of a real areola, as well as protrusion of the nipple if there is not one present. This service is most commonly used for
● Loss of areola/nipple after reconstruction post mastectomy
● Breast reductions, lifts, or augmentations that affect the color of the areola
● Gynecomastia (removal of breast tissue on men)
● Other cosmetic choices (change in color or shape)
Stretch Mark and Scar Camouflage are treatments to conceal and smooth the appearance of visible scarring. Treatment is performed on scars 1-2 years old. Services vary in the number of treatments needed to camouflage areas. All treatment plans are discussed in your consultation.
